Dekart Private Disk v.2.06

With version 2.06 of Private Disk, you can protect your data application by application.

In addition to allowing selected people to have access to programs and data, you can now restrict the programs that these individuals can use to access your data files.

For example, if your team is working on a sensitive project using
Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, you can ensure that team members can only use these two applications to access your files.

• They can't use Explorer to create copies of the data files.
• They can't use third-party backup programs to move copies to a floppy disc.
  
• They can't use your CD burner software to make copies of your data.
  

It's easy too add this extra level of protection to Private Disk. Simply create a whitelist, and add the appropriate programs to the whitelist. That's all it takes to ensure that only these applications can access your most important data.

With this new feature, employees can access sensitive data as part of their job, but they can't run copy programs to capture the information and make copies.
